Chaplins, Hanley S-O-T - 31 May 2006

The name of this pub has changed a couple of times from Lloyds and before that The Queens.

The property was also a small house and a farm house. It was said and to have a tunnelwhich ran somewhere close to the bus station.

The area used to have small terrace houses and was attached to what was Hanley High School (this is where the bus station is located now) and this area was the swimming baths.

		ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
		Quiet

		INTERNAL = 19C
		Cold and wet.

		REPORTED PHENOMENA
		Something in the cellar
		A man behind the bar and A woman walks round
		Loud noises and bangs.
		When the landlord first moved in, an old man greeted him and asked if he had seen her? This man also said that she didn’t like the wooden door. Since then, the landlord has heard the sound of a creaking door. Where this sound come from there use to be wooden doorlocated there, this was situated about the middle of the room by the bar.

AREA	NOTES	EVIDENCE
11pm Sitting Room	Mandy felt cold as she entered this part of the room. Phil got strange readings from his EMF recorder by Mandy’s shoulders. Gill followed and she too felt cold. A medium came this night called Matt and he told us a lady was walking around us.	PHOTO
12.40am	Matt told us that this lady was laughing at the landlord because something was missing of his. The landlord didn’t know what that was.
12.50pm	Matt got the name LUCY. Phil’s torch stopped working.
12.50am Lovett Suit	Kath, Gill and Mandyt. Mandy sensed there was a man sitting on a bench. A seance was performed, breaths were heard and Kath went cold. Gill too photo of Orb.	EVP Photo
2am Dinning Room	Second sceance in the dinning room. This came up with a few bangs and a couple of blasts of cold air. Gill saw a couple of blue lights in front of her. We finished that and just spent time asking out. Nothing happened.	Orb Photo
3am	Gill, Phil and Simon went for a walk roung the graveyard. Simon told them that a woman in white was watching them, so I took a photo of that spot. She got an orb.
4am	Finish
CONCLUSION: We are still tracking down the names mentioned in the investigation to cross reference the information given by Simon, but as yet no information has been found. Quit of few WVP's were found of the digital voice recorder which were very interesting>
